The Blue Trolley route operates every 15 minutes on weekdays and the weekend.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>The Green Forest Park Trolley route<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0serves the eastern side of Forest Park, with stops at the Jewel Box and the Saint Louis Science Center and Planetarium. The Green Trolley route operates every 30 minutes on weekdays and every 15 minutes during the weekend.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Both routes begin at the Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Station, and both make stops at the Missouri History Museum, Dennis &amp; Judith Jones Visitor and Education Center, The Muny and the Boathouse. The Forest Park Trolley (MetroBus route #3) will operate daily between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. from Tuesday, May 1 through Monday, September 3. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.metrostlouis.org\/route\/3-forest-park-trolley\/\">Click here for the trolley schedule.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.metrostlouis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/fpt-map-2018.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-0\" data-magnific_type=\"image\" data-rl_title=\"Forest Park Trolley Route Map\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"Forest Park Trolley Route Map\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-97401 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.metrostlouis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/fpt-map-2018-1024x883.jpg\" alt=\"Forest Park Trolley Route Map\" width=\"1024\" height=\"883\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.metrostlouis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/fpt-map-2018-1024x883.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.metrostlouis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/fpt-map-2018-300x259.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.metrostlouis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/fpt-map-2018-768x662.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Forest Park Trolley is free to ride on Sundays throughout the 2018 season. On all other days, tickets are just $2 for adults; $1 for children (5-12), seniors and disabled passengers; and it&#8217;s free for children 4 and under. A ticket gives you all-day riding privileges on both the Blue and Green trolley routes. A valid Metro Reduced Fare Permit is required for the disabled and senior discount.<\/p>\n<p>A convenient Park &amp; Ride option you can take advantage of inside Forest Park is at the Visitor Center&#8217;s parking lot, where you can park your car and hop aboard the Forest Park Trolley for a quick and easy trip around the park. You can also combine MetroLink with the trolley by parking at any one of 21 free Park-Ride lots at MetroLink stations in Missouri and Illinois, riding MetroLink to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station, and hopping on the Blue or Green Forest Park Trolley route, depending on your destination.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the #90 Hampton MetroBus route will not operate in Forest Park on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. while the Forest Park Trolley is in operation. The route will instead detour around the park via Skinker Boulevard. During these times on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, passengers on the #90 Hampton will need to transfer to the Forest Park Trolley in order to access stops inside Forest Park.<\/p>\n<p>The Forest Park Trolley service is a partnership between Forest Park Forever, Metro, Missouri History Museum, Saint Louis Art Museum, Saint Louis Science Center, Saint Louis Zoo and the City of St. Louis Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Forest Park Trolley returns to service in Forest Park on Tuesday, May 1 &#8211; and this year, you can enjoy the trolley for free.
